After the game we went to Costco and then a place called Acadamy, which is a big sporting goods store. I was hoping Lyric's softball shoes would fit from last season, but no such luck. She needed a 7.5 in women's! No one was around to help, so Mike took the liberty of using their ladder. I'm sure people wished we'd leave as Paxton and Kylee dribbled balls throughout the store.
Basketball
Today was Paxton's last regular basketball game of the season. This next Saturday they start playoffs. His team won. It's been an up and down season. I don't think there's been enough consistency and practice to really help the boys a lot. Packy has lots of confidence on the court and doesn't seemed fazed. It's been an adjustment for me as the mom to hear his coach yell things to him while he's on the court. It makes me feel protective!

Stinker
This little girl has been allowed to do things I've never really liked my kids to do. I guess that's what happens when you're the youngest. Each night she tells asleep in our bed. Then lately, she's been coming back into our bed at about 4:30. She used to come tap me on my foot, and I'd carry her straight back to her bed. Well, she learned that if she tapped on daddy's arm, he'd pull her into bed with us because he's too tired and out of it to take her back. It makes for a restless rest of my sleep!

Poor Packy
The nurse at Paxton's school called yesterday saying he had been in twice complaining of feeling sick. He even fell asleep in there which it totally not him. Mike went and got him. Within two minutes of being in the house, he rushed to the toilet. Poor guy. I haven't seen him that miserable for a long time. He stayed in bed from about 1:30 yesterday afternoon till this morning a about 8. The rest did him good.

Signs
Here's a little glimpse into my living room. I'm in sign mode. Typically when I'm in this deep into a sign mode, I know I'm using it as a coping mechanism. Hey, at least it's a healthy way! Everyone is very accommodating to my taking over the living room, which isn't very hard to do, considering its small size.
