As Kylee would say, I made Pinocchio bread. Don't ask me how she got that out of zucchini bread! Turned out very yummy. Except I took the first one out of the pan too soon so it broke.
Today we went to a new park. The kids liked it because there wasn't dumb sand. It was the soft squishy flooring. There was also this fun pond that we'll bring bread next time to feed the ducks. The weather was 75 and pretty breezy, so it made it feel a lot cooler.

The kids have been enjoying the Olympics.
Kylee has been in to painting her nails. The glitter doesn't make me nervous, so I don't mind!
Kylee and Minnie. Inseparable friends!
Lyric came home from school with a missing tooth. It randomly came out in class! They gave her a cute little treasure chest to put it in.
Lyric had a 17 hour day Saturday. Non stop softball! She was a major trooper. She's an amazing player and this team is facilitating her abilities even more. I love watching her play.
Between Lyric's third and fourth softball games, we grabbed a bite to eat.
She has some long hair when it's wet!
Sunday after church we went to the park. We ended up staying for three hours. The sun was shining and I tried to act like it wasn't hot. The kids loved it. They played and then got the bats out and hit some balls.

We were out to eat and this was her dinner choice. Cutie oranges from home.
Kylee had us play Candyland, Sorry, and Star Wars Monopoly today. I was pretty impressed that she set up the monopoly all by herself.
Kyky and I made some salsa today. She got a big wiff of the onion and didn't really care for it! She liked squeezing the limes and didn't care for the sound of the food processor.
Kylee helped make some yummy brownies yesterday. I found a recipe thy uses unsweetened chocolate squares instead of cocoa. They're so good!
Kylee, Lyric and Paxton were in their room. Lyric and Paxton were trying to play Candyland without Kylee, pretty unsuccessfully.
Kylee comes out and says, Paxton is going to kick my "utt" out. I can't burp, talk, or fart.

LOL. I think he told her "butt", but it made me laugh how serious she was.

Kylee asked for a drink of my soda. I obliged since we we eat Paxton's wrestling practice with no other drinking option. She tells me, mom, I'm teaching you to share.
Kylee did a portrait of her and I. The green one is me and the other is her. She used an adequate amount of tape to hold the two papers together. Even though those look like frowny faces, according to her they are happy faces.
Kylee was watching Dora this morning. Dora likes to ask interactive questions. So this morning she asks, do you like parades? To which Kylee replies, no, I hate parades.
She always has to be the different one!

Kylee-isms

Just a few more things out of the mouth of Kylee.

-she was saying stupid a lot. So I asked her to go put the word into the trash can. I've been trying to work on ways to help with her mouth. I'm trying the trash can thing again. So she goes over and puts it into the trash can. She walks back over to me and says, I have a lot of stupids, and proceeds to spit them all into the trash can.

-she was feeling frustrated with me for some unknown reason. She was watching a show where some girls were singing. She said, those girls are pretty, but you're ugly.

 She's a feisty one!

Yesterday, on the way home from school, Lyric asked what was on my face. I told her, they're zits. And then she said, I thought only teenagers got zits. Haha.

I've been trying to get Kylee to not talk like a three year old truck driver. She often uses her tummy like a person in itself. So yesterday she told me, mommy, my tummy said "dumbo", but not to you. I just laughed. Her tummy was calling "someone" dumbo, but it wasn't me ;)
Since Paxton has started wrestling, he likes practicing his moves on Lyric and Kylee. They both like it, for the most part. They use my bed as their wrestling mat.
The rainbow loom band Lyric made for Kylee's glasses finally gave in today. I was impressed with how long it lasted! I tried on the "Speccles" I ordered from Australia. Not impressed. Basically a plastic straw that doesn't work! So, Lyric is making another band for Kylee.

This week is ANOTHER dress up week at school. They have this so often. I should find it really fun and get super into it, but quite honestly, I find getting ready for regular school days to be enough! This is Lyric ready for 80's day. I flipped her batman sweater inside out, and put some vinyl on it. The 'h' fell off during the day, but otherwise it worked out pretty good!
I asked her to bring me a bottle of water. She didn't want to, but reluctantly did. She brought me seven. Probably because she knew I wouldn't ask for a while after that!
Sneaking into Paxton's puzzle while he's at school. I'm impressed she's actually getting som pieces together.

It snowed enough for the kids to go out and play for a while. We own not one type of real snow clothing, so they throw on whatever they can find! Paxton tried shorts and first and found out his legs turned numb. It's hard to imagine that sounding fun, when it sounds so wet and cold. I must be getting old.
The kids had a definite hodge podge type of dinner last night. I didn't know what to make, so I just started putting lots of random stuff on the table. It worked! They ask for salad daily. Even Kylee joins in on the love for vinegar salad.
Yesterday we played some games. Kylee was able to join in on Uno and Sorry Sliders. She doesn't quite get how to hold her cards the right way, so she just layed them on the floor, and flipped them over to find whatever color she needed. She won one of the rounds!
Kylee loves putting on Mike's shaving cream any chance she can get.
